Vegetable Burger

Ingredients for Veg Burger

  • 4 small size burger rolls
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 100g butter
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomato ketchup
  • veg mustard sauce
  • veg mayonaisse

For Vegetable Cutlet (veg burger patty):

  • 100g carrots, chopped
  • 100g beans, chopped
  • 150g potatoes, boiled, peeled & mashed
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 50g oil
  • Salt to taste
  • bread crums
  • 2 tsp green chilli - ginger paste
  • 1 tsp garam masala

Method

  • For the vegetable burger cutlets patty
  • Mix the vegetables, potatoes, ginger green chilly paste, lemon juice, black pepper powder, garam masala and salt and shape into small flattened rounds.
  • Sprinkle bread crumbs all over.
  • Cook on a tawa (griddle) with oil.

How to serve veg burger

  • Cut each burger roll into half, apply butter to burger rolls and fry on the same pan for few minutes.
  • Place lettuce leaves on the bottom roll.
  • Then place the cutlet and then tomato, onion and cucumber slices.
  • Apply mayonaisse, mustard sauce, and lettuce leaves on top.
  • Now place the top roll and insert a toothpick in the middle.
  • Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup.
