Simple Jain Burger Recipe

Ingredients for Jain Burger

  • 4 small size burger rolls
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100g butter
  • Shredded cabbage
  • tomato ketchup
  • Jain chilli sauce
  • Eggless mayonaisse (optional)
  • cheese slices (Optional)

For Jain burger patty:

  • 2 boiled bananas and smashed (raw)
  • green pease boiled and smashed
  • 2 tbspn chopped cabbage
  • 2 tbspn chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbspn chopped fenugreek
  • 1 tbspm chopped palak
  • 1 tbspm boiled sweet corn
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 2 tbpsn Green coriander finely choppes
  • 2 chilly finely chopped
  • pinch of turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspn Red chilly powder
  • pinch of garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste'
  • 1/4 cup Gram flour
  • 1/4 cup Wheat flour
  • 2 brown burger bread
  • Oil to Fry

For the Jain burger patty

  • Mix all the ingredients very well add coriander, chilli powder, garam masala and turmeric powder and salt.
  • Bind it with gram and wheat flour.
  • Make small tikkis and grill it on grill plate adding two to three tsp of oil on medium flame.
  • Remove it off the flame let it cool down

How to serve Jain burger

  • Cut each burger roll into half, apply butter to burger rolls and fry on the same pan for few minutes.
  • Place lettuce leaves on the bottom roll.
  • Then place the cutlet and then tomato, onion and cucumber slices and cheese slices.
  • Apply mayonaisse, chilli sauce, and shredded cabbage on top.
  • Now place the top roll and insert a toothpick in the middle.
  • Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup.
