Simple Aloo tikki Burger

Ingredients for Aloo Patty Burger

  • 4 small size burger rolls
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 100g butter
  • lettuce leaves
  • tomato ketchup
  • chilli sauce
  • mayonaisse (optional)
  • cheese slices (Optional)

For Aloo tikki burger (aloo patty):

  • 2 - potatoes
  • 2 - chopped onions
  • 2 - chopped green chillies
  • 4 slices - tomato
  • 4 slices - onion
  • 4 round sliced leaves - cabbage / lettuce
  • red chilli powder
  • coriender powder
  • garam masala
  • amchur powder
  • vegetable oil
  • chopped coriender leaves
  • butter
  • salt to taste

Method
For the Aloo tikki burger patty

  • Boil potatoes,shred potatoes, add chopped onions green chillies and coriender leaves.
  • Add salt, red chilli powder, coriender powder, garam masala and amchur powder.
  • Mix it very well and make 4 round aloo patties with it.
  • Heat vegetable oil in fry pan.
  • Fry aloo patties until they become golden brown in colour.
  • Take out patties and keep it aside.


How to serve Aloo tikki burger

  • Cut each burger roll into half, apply butter to burger rolls and fry on the same pan for few minutes.
  • Place lettuce leaves on the bottom roll.
  • Then place the cutlet and then tomato, onion and cucumber slices and cheese slices.
  • Apply mayonaisse, chilli sauce, and lettuce leaves on top.
  • Now place the top roll and insert a toothpick in the middle.
  • Serve with tomato sauce or ketchup.
